Mexico Tower

The ecological tower is located in the lake of the Xochimilco Park and grows up from the water as a flower. The concept comes from an architectural interpretation of the mexican vegetation and its form wants to celebrate the natural beauty of the country.
The building, which locations allows to requilify the jetty, reuses the water for domestic drainage but also for the dehumidification system and fire system, and the power of the wind as a source of energy.
The façade is of double glass that contains a thin metal shading device.
This keeps the sunlight from overheating, brings huge long-term reduction in energy costs and allows a view of the park from within. Located in the middle of the tower is a green lung. It is useful to provide air quality and shade for the terraces.
