Hotel in Medjugorie

The narrow and long form of this site situated in Bosnia Herzegovina at Medjugore has determined the silhouette of the hotel.
The first floor is an exploitable perimeter: the reception, vertical connections, a restaurant and a shop. From the first to the third floor, the volume projects towards the north in order to accommodate the rooms and give a sensation of suspension of the element itself.
The façade is highlighted by a high window and the floors are defined by another material. Between each window is used a local stone that defines even more the rigour to modulate from one side and the complex slenderness of the handmade.

La forma stretta e lunga di questo terreno situato in Bosnia Herzegovina, ed esattamente a Medjugorie, ha determinato la seguente silouette dell'hotel.
Il piano terra occupa il perimetro sfruttabile con la reception, i collegamenti verticali, un ristorante e un negozio. Dal primo piano fino al terzo, il volume totale aggetta verso il lato nord per poter ospitare le stanze e dare una sensazione di sospensione dell'elemento stesso. la facciata è scandita da finestre a tutta altezza e i solai vengono definiti da un diverso materiale.
Tra una finestra e l'altra sarà applicata una pietra locale che definirà ancor più il rigore modulare da un lato e la snellezza complessiva del manufatto
